Brian Verhagen
Brian brings over 39 years of image service consulting and development, release of information (ROI) strategic development, service offering development and P&L management experience to the operational core and business development segments of STAT Informatic Solutions. His previous business successes include the core development and implementation of a release of information service offering secondary to an existing core business only to make it a $10 million strategic component and a proven core competency within a similar type document imaging service business. In addition, he was instrumental in contracting SOURCECORP’s first healthcare provider facility management client, the prestigious Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, MI. This client service offering was grown from a single site $500,000 opportunity in 2000 to a multi-site projected $2.7 million offering in 2007.
Since his departure from SOURCECORP in 2007, Brian started STAT Imaging Solutions, now known as STAT Informatic Solutions, with his two business partners, Adam Henderson and Rosaira Acosta. The company, which provides Release of Information, Document Management, Analysis, Courier Service and Coding Services, along with our latest offering of Record Retrieval, has grown from 2007 revenues of $148,000 to current 2017 revenues of over $25 million. Brian graduated in 1978 with a Business Degree in Sales & Marketing from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.
CHIEF BUSINESS OFFICER
Rosaira Acosta
Rosaira Acosta is the Chief Business Officer for STAT Informatic Solutions. She has 35 years of management experience overseeing strategic planning in addition to budgeting, financial management, contracts, human resources, operations management and specializing in the area of ROI and Document Imaging Management. Rosaira has provided many years of support and is an active consultant to the Health Information Management community. She has participated and provided her expertise in regard to the development of Release of Information best practices, as an associate to many Health Information Management Departments located within hospitals throughout the United States. She has also participated as a consultant to many Corporate Legal Teams with the development of compliance for their organizations in relation to HlPAA and ROI rules and regulations.
Rosaira has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration specializing in Marketing Management and Finance. She is a member of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), Florida Health Information Management Association (FHlMA), Health Care Information and Management Systems Society (HlMSS), Central Florida Health Information Management Association (CFHlMA), South Florida Health Information Management Association and Puerto Rico Health Information Management Association (PRHlMA).
SENIOR VP & CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Adam Henderson
Adam has worked in the Health Information Management field for 19 years. As the COO of STAT Informatic Solutions, he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Operations. Adam is the third and final Partner of STAT Informatic Solutions.
Prior to forming STAT, Adam was the Senior Division Manager for a large Document Management company based out of Dallas, Texas. As such, he held P&L responsibility for over 500 accounts, indirectly managing over 1000 employees with 15 direct reports. He has worked with some of the Nation’s largest Hospitals and Hospital Groups, including Henry Ford Health Systems in Detroit, MI, the Allina Group in Minneapolis, MN, Iowa Health Systems based in Des Moines, IA and Orlando Health of Orlando, FL just to name a few.
Adam has been the guest speaker at numerous Healthcare Financial Management Association functions, speaking on the Financial Impact of Implementing Document Management Systems Enterprise wide. Adam holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. He is also an active member of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). He was a Non-Commissioned Officer in the Marine Corps, having served in 4 countries during his enlistment. Adam is married with seven children and resides North of Omaha, Nebraska.
